FC Schalke 04 is planning more departures than arrivals this summer. The sports director Frank Baumann confirmed to the „Bild“ that the club currently has many players under contract and therefore plans to streamline its squad.

The Schalke professional squad currently consists of 35 players. With Satoshi Tanaka and Junior Adamu, FC Schalke 04 has already presented the first two new signings for the upcoming season.
Who will leave the club?
In addition to obvious transfer candidates like Moussa Sylla and Finn Porath, players who no longer play a role in the sporting plans will also leave the club. These include Anton Donkor and Tomas Kalas.
